With Earth Simulations latest product, I got to explore the lovelly islands of off the western tip of Cornwall, in the UK. The isles of Scilly are a spectacular place in real life, and I think that FSX has done them proud, with a little help from Earth Simulations, that is!

These are great shots, Earth Simulations really nails these small islands.

I will be flying over this spot at about FL 280 on the flight I am going to take tonight from Dublin to Brest.

An aside...I thought these were pictures of SICILY when I read your last post...way off.

Sorry - FSX only. And these shots are work in progress, theres a new mesh coming along soon that, with a little hand editing, will really show those cliffs off! I'm glad you enjoyed them, Darren of Earth Simulations really knows his stuff when it comes to this kind of scenery. Its been a real pleasure beta testing his products too date.

There was a delay with getting this one out due to the terrain mesh not turning up on time, but with some EarthSimulations performing the last few had edits now, it seems prudent to add this video .. again, its still work in progress, but the 1.2m terrain mesh really picks out the detail in the terrain!

Enjoy!
