hi, i need to know if Windows 98 (Second Edition) setup supports a usb keyboard so i can type the product key in when im installing it because the laptop i am insatalling on is very old and some of the keys are out, its an ibm thinkpad 600x

Depeneds how 'compliant' the keyboard is .. if you can get into the BIOS, then you'll *probably* be able to enter the key!

If you are having issues, look in the bios and see if you can enable legacy usb support. I've never had a problem with USB keyboards though.
