So I needed to use a Dell credit and decided to upgrade my video cards after reading the latest benchmarking article in Computer Pilot Magazine.

Currently I have 2 GeForce 8800GT cards driving my 3 monitors. The article in Computer Pilot said that the video card will make an improvement in FPS, something I did not think mattered much.

I have on order 2 GeForce GTS 450 1GB Superclocked cards, due here Friday.

I am expecting to see a little improvement in frames, but not too sure how much. Anyone have any thoughts?

Thanks!

Is it too late to get the GTX 460, it's a really ideal card for FSX and overclocks beautifully.

The 450 has 192 cores, the 460 has 336. That's a big increase...

BTW the 8800 has 128 cores.

Yeah, it is too late. The 450's are already installed... Guess I will wait a little while and save up a little bit for the GTX 460!

Thanks for the info!
